A recent addition to the Holliday Canopy product lineup, the vinyl top awning fits nicely in between the custom sailcloth awning and the Silvertop Quick Shade awning where previously there was a substantial price difference.
The unit is freestanding or trailer mounted, and it uses rigid framework similar to the Quick Silver line of canopies. The top of the line Vinyl canopy comes with valances on two sides. We also offer wall panels and banners in matching colors for these canopies.
The vinyl top canopies are priced affordably for the sportsman racer. The covers are available in several colors and we can supply matching banners and walls with the awning setup. The framework is identical to the more costly custom awning, but instead of the sailcloth this canopy uses a vinyl material.
While you may choose to go with the vinyl canopy material over the sailcloth material for price reasons, there are some cases where the vinyl top is a far superior choice, such as: when the canopy will be subjected to a lot of dirt and mud (i.e. motocross, hill climb events, rally events).
The vinyl fabric cleans easily with a garden hose and a wet mop or brush and is mildew resistant. The vinyl is very durable and is designed to last outdoors all year long. Every seam on the vinyl canopies is heat sealed meaning that there is never a water leaking problem! You can expect to get ten years of use out of a vinyl canopy cover.
Vinyl tops are fire resistant and come with a Firemarshall tag. This has become very important at many shows and the requirement will be more strictly enforced in the future.
This is the same durable, outdoor vinyl that is used on building awnings and the material is American made.
In addition, we provide vinyl skirts to run along the bottom of the trailer to keep out the winds.
If you already have a silver top canopy, we can replace the silver top cover with a long lasting vinyl cover. By using vinyl covers, you have a choice of colors in either solid or stripes.
The only disadvantage with vinyl is that it is heavy when used on large canopies. We recommend vinyl on 10'-12' wide canopies and awnings. Large awnings should be purchased with our lighter weight sailcloth materials.
